I think I could use Maya Angelou quotes on my printables for the rest of the year…don’t worry, I won’t, but she is very inspiring and motivating. I love the quote this week about how to deal with something you don’t like.
“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” -Maya Angelou
It’s such a straightforward idea: change what you don’t like, but if you can’t change it, figure out how to see the silver lining and deal with it. I am very much a cup-half-full kind of person, an optimist. So I am always trying to find the good in not-so-good situations. We don’t have to continue to be unhappy in difficult times, we just have to adjust our attitude about the difficult time we find ourselves. Humans have very powerful brains so let’s use that power for good and keep those positive thoughts going.
Use this printable Maya Angelou quote to inspire and encourage you in your home, office, dorm, or classroom. You can print it at home and hang it in a frame, with cute washi tape, or fun thumbtacks. Be creative!
Each week I design and post a new Printable Creation that will be available for free to my readers. You can subscribe below to get this week’s and all future Printable Creations in your inbox every Wednesday.
